The Royal Highland Show 2025 was a dynamic event, with a lively atmosphere and record attendance. The event provided an exceptional platform for networking, learning, and showcasing the latest in agricultural technology.
Spanning four days, the show attracted over 220,000 visitors, with Friday and Saturday both sold out and ticket sales up 2.5% from the previous year. This impressive turnout made the Royal Highland Centre one of Scotland’s largest population hubs during the event!
Building on last year’s success, this year our team proudly exhibited alongside BAGMA at Stand Q312(A). Together, we presented our Gold Rush offers and engaged with a wide range of agricultural professionals. Our stand served as a central hub to demonstrate how our dealer management software helps businesses boost efficiency and drive growth.
Royal Highland Show 2025 featured over 6,000 livestock and welcomed 2,500 competitors from across the UK. More than 800 exhibitors showcased a diverse range of products, including food, drink and crafts. Music enthusiasts enjoyed the Royal Highland Hoolie, with 9,064 attendees. This year’s event introduced the Scottish Dairy Championships and a new ladies’ shearing category, while England claimed victory in the Blade Shearing leg of the 6 Nations Competition.
Throughout the event, our team connected with industry leaders, customers, and new contacts. Nicola Theakston, our Internal Account Manager, reflected on her first experience at the Show:
“Attending the Royal Highland Show in 2025 was an incredible experience. It provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders and catch up with customers, while gaining valuable insights into the agricultural sector and a clearer understanding of its growth and evolving needs.”
In addition to strengthening our relationships within the industry, and showcasing our solutions, our 2025 Gold Rush offer presented dealers at the event with the chance to benefit from significant savings.
Among others, Jamie Gardiner, Group Operations Director at Hamilton Ross Group, took the opportunity to sign up for our cloud-based solution at the show, saying:
“Cloud makes so much sense for us as it provides a scalable platform for future growth to meet the aspirations of our business. Having been a long-standing customer of Ibcos, I’m pleased they’ve partnered with Microsoft Azure to deliver a robust, up-to-date solution.”
The Royal Highland Show 2025 demonstrated the evolution and commitment to innovation in the sector. We are grateful to everyone who visited our stand and to BAGMA for their invaluable partnership.
When asked, Ibcos Sales Director James Buchanan summarised the event, saying:
“It’s always a fantastic experience coming to the Royal Highland Show, and the huge number of attendees this year demonstrated the value it provides to the industry. We’re proud to have been part of the event and look forward to supporting agriculture’s future through collaboration and technology. We eagerly anticipate returning to the Royal Highland show in 2026.”
