PlantWorx 2025: Innovation, Insight and Industry Connections at Newark Showground

PlantWorx 2025 was a standout event for the construction and plant sector, showcasing live demonstrations, valuable networking opportunities and future-facing technology.

From September 23 to 25, the show welcomed thousands of trade visitors. More than 300 exhibitors participated, including 105 first-time entrants representing both global and specialist brands across machinery, attachments, digital systems, safety, and low-carbon solutions.

Ibcos at PlantWorx

This year marked our first time exhibiting at PlantWorx. It was an exciting opportunity for the team to showcase our Gold system to the construction sector.

Highlights and Key Features

  • The Site Sustainability Showcase spotlighted zero-emission equipment, hybrid machines, hydrogen power units, battery storage, and smart on-site energy.
  • Live demonstrations and test drives enabled visitors to see machines working in real ground conditions and compare performance.
  • A dedicated indoor tech zone highlighted connectivity, telematics, automation, control systems, and digital tools relevant to modern construction operations.
  • Numerous OEMs unveiled UK product launches, including Caterpillar (via Finning), JCB, XCMG, Hyundai, SANY, Kubota, and many more.
Connections and Conversations
Our team left the show with a diverse mix of contacts, including existing customers, new contacts, and potential industry partners. It was a valuable chance to strengthen relationships, hear first-hand about site challenges, and gather feedback on emerging needs.Adam Giles, our Business Development Manager, reflected: “PlantWorx 2025 didn’t just give us contact, it gave us conversations. To stand side by side with OEMs and tech specialists and to talk face to face with decision makers about their site challenges is invaluable.”

Reflections and Outlook

PlantWorx 2025 highlighted a clear shift in the sector, from equipment as a standalone asset towards plant + data integration. We were proud to demonstrate how Ibcos can help clients bridge that journey.

Our Sales Director, James Buchanan, summarised the event: “This edition of PlantWorx reaffirmed why shows like this matter, you see real kit, meet real users, and convert ideas into action. We’re proud to have been part of it, and excited to bring even more innovation to our partners in 2026.”

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and talked to our team, as well as the event organisers.
