System Integration with Manufacturers and Importers

Ibcos has been creating interfaces with other IT systems almost since the company was founded. The first company to buy a computer system from Ibcos was a Ford Tractor dealer; soon dealers for other major brands followed (Massey Ferguson, John Deere, etc.). The work to integrate with the manufacturers systems soon started. Originally this was updating parts pricing from Parts Price Tapes sent from the manufacturer but this soon spread into other areas of the parts business. Over the years, as our market strength has grown, system interfaces have become a fundamental part of Ibcos Gold. These features always require co-operation from the relevant manufacturer; in the last five years Ibcos have worked hard to foster this. With a general trend for manufacturers to conduct more of their business through dealer web portals, this has led to a massive increase in development. The result is a rich environment of live interfaces and a continual plan for more. The pace of progress is often determined by the manufacturer; Ibcos make every effort to move on where this is possible.
