Cash Book
The Cashbook module provides a comprehensive and convenient means of recording transactions through different bank accounts and managing bank reconciliations. Multiple cashbooks can be set up in base or foreign currencies. Transactions through the Nominal Ledger are posted automatically to the relevant bank account. Whenever a payment is received through the Sales Ledger or made through Purchase Ledger, the cashbook is updated automatically.
The Cashbook feature gives bank reconciliation facilities to the Nominal Ledger together with a further enhanced standard payments routine. Posting of entries from the bank statement can be made “on the fly” whilst in reconciliation mode. Fixed or standard payments can be set up to post automatically every so many days, weeks or months. Quarterly and annual payments may also be registered.
